The secret of our success
BBK is committed to providing everyone with high-quality Chinese fast food at affordable prices, ensuring that the warmth and caring of Chinese cuisine are consistently presented to customers.
Big Bowl Kitchen was founded in Melbourne in 2022 by a group of Chinese food enthusiasts who missed the flavors of China and wanted to offer customers a satisfying and delicious meal.
In the Australian market, Chinese Kitchen is always a mistery—complicated cooking techniques and unique flavors are hard to replicate, which means the lacking of standardization and explains why there are few Chinese fast-food chains in Australia. Therefore, the BBK founding team aimed to create a standardized Chinese fast-food kitchen that can deliver both efficiency and deliciousness.
With this mission, BBK began its business development. In just two years, it has expanded from one store to six stores in Melbourne. The stable growth makes sure each store is operating very and well recognized from the market.
The brand’s color is red, symbolizing the passion and hospitality of Chinese cuisine, which is also a favorite color in Chinese culture.

Brand Growth
Expanding and Innovating
At the end of 2022, we opened our first store in Westfield Knox, marking the beginning of our journey. In 2023, we expanded with two additional locations in Southland and DFO Moorabbin. By 2024, we opened two more stores, including our first in the southwest area, where we introduced and tested an automated and optimized kitchen operation process, paving the way for innovation in our industry.

BBK Southland
BBK's new location in Southland had a successful grand opening. Guests enjoyed signature dishes and took pictures with BBK's famous mascots. The modern restaurant offers various customizable options for busy individuals.

BBK DFO Moorabbin
BBK DFO Moorabbin had successful opening with many customers enjoying our signature Honey Chicken. Customers also enjoyed our exciting activities.

BBK Parkmore
Customers came flowing in with BBK Parkmore's opening. We introduced our signature Honey chicken to our customers through free sampling. They also enjoyed our fun activities and amazing deals and offers.

BBK Barkly Square
Our newest store strategically opened in Barkly Square. It had a successful opening with overall satisfied customers. They enjoyed the big deals that BBK has to offer especially the weekly grand opening offers and our big bundles.

The first store in the southwest region opened at Pacific Werribee Shopping Centre, marking a significant breakthrough in regional expansion. This location introduced automated processes and optimized kitchen operations, injecting fresh energy into the brand's ongoing growth.
